Anemometer with alarms for construction cranes
Anemometer SAG-105 by IED Company, for construction cranes, with two levels of visual and sound alarm.
The SAG-105 anemometer by IED Company has been designed to monitor the wind speed and trigger an alarm to crane operators when it exceeds set thresholds. It's a very simple and affordable product which quickly got a leading position on the market.
The SAG-105 has two alarm levels. At the first level, the orange signal lights up and the sound alarm is intermittent. At the second level, the signal becomes red and the sound alarm rings continuously. The thresholds can be chosen from four presets with two interruptors:
- Orange level at 50km/h, red level at 70km/h (ITC MIE-AEM-2 norm)
- Orange level at 40 km/h, red level at 61km/h (CPA Tower Crane Interest Group TIN 020 norm)
- Orange level at 30km/h, red level at 40km/h
- Orange level at 42km/h, red level at 70km/h
The anemometer must be powered with 48-400Vac, at 50 or 60Hz. Pulse and relay outputs are available as options. Other versions powerable at 24Vac, 24Vcc, and 12Vcc are also available, but without additional outputs.
The anemometer can be installed on metallic structures with magnets or on a pole with clamps (both options provided).
