The presence of the pyranometer allows the calculation of potential evapotranspiration.

Vantage Pro 2 Plus Envoy wireless weather station with active ventilation from Davis Instruments, part number 6161EU. The connection between the external sensors (ISS) and the console is made by radio waves on the frequency 868.0 - 868.6 MHz with a range of 300 meters maximum.

For its proper functioning, this station must be supplemented with a datalogger (6510USB - 6510SER - Wifilogger - Meteopiethernet)

The Weather Envoy 6316EU console from Davis Instruments is a console without LCD screen which will allow you to receive data from a weather station or an ISS Vantage Pro 2 and send them to a computer (with the WeatherLink interface not supplied ) and so you can place your LCD console in another room. The Weather Envoy console offers the same measurement and data storage features as the Vantage Pro 2 LCD console. The Weather Envoy console is also compatible with the Davis Vantage Vue station and can be mounted against a wall. The connection between the external sensors (ISS) and the console is made by radio waves on the frequency 868.0 - 868.6 MHz with a range of 300 meters on sight.

The sensor suite (ISS) is very robust and can be mounted on a mast (tube) or on a wooden pole. A dual sensor for measuring outdoor temperature and humidity is placed in a standardised radiation shelter with 24-hour active ventilation. The active ventilation allows a better accuracy of the outdoor temperature and humidity measurements 24 hours a day. The rain gauge is equipped with a tipping bucket system (single bucket system) for measuring precipitation and bird spikes. The wind vane - anemometer can be detached from the ISS and installed on a roof, for example, with its 12-metre cable. The ISS is equipped with a UV sensor to measure the UV index and a pyranometer to measure solar radiation and evapotranspiration (used in agriculture).
