Davis Instruments Vantage Pro2 Envoy wired complete weather station, reference 6160CEU. The connection between the external sensors (ISS) and the console is made with a cable 30 meters long.

For its proper functioning, this station must be supplemented with a datalogger (6510USB - 6510SER - Wifilogger - Meteopiethernet)

The Weather Envoy console is a console without LCD screen that will allow you to receive data from a weather station or a suite of sensors (ISS) from the Vantage Pro 2 weather station and send them to a computer (with the WeatherLink interface not provided). The Weather Envoy console offers the same measurement and data storage functions as the Vantage Pro 2 weather station's LCD console.

The Weather Envoy console can be mounted against a wall. The connection between the external sensors (ISS) and the console is made by cable, compatible with the Davis instruments Vantage Pro 2 6152CEU and Vantage Pro 2 Plus 6162CEU stations.

The ISS is very robust and can be mounted on a mast (tube) or on a wooden pole. A dual sensor for measuring outdoor temperature and humidity is placed in a standardised radiation shelter. The rain gauge is equipped with a tipping bucket system for measuring precipitation and bird spikes. The wind vane anemometer can be detached from the ISS and installed on a roof, for example, with its 12-metre cable. The ISS is equipped with a UV sensor to measure the UV index and a pyranometer to measure solar radiation and evapotranspiration.

With a transmission interval of 2.25 seconds, the anemometer can easily record the strongest wind gusts.

It is also possible to add a datalogger to the console. You will be able to store more than 2500 data on this datalogger and transmit them to your computer thanks to the WeatherLink software that is provided with the datalogger.
