Pyranometer MBMet-500
Pyranometer with analogical or Modbus RS485 output, specifically dedicated to the monitoring of photovoltaic installations
The MBMet-500 sensors are pyranometers designed with a photovoltaic cell as their active measurement instrument. They are thus specifically suited to the monitoring of photovoltaic panels can of course also be employed in a wider range of usecases (like energy-efficiency, building, etc.). They measure the global solar irradiance as well as the sensor cell temperature. The sensors in the family are:
- MBMet-500A: Standalone pyranometer
- MBMet-500B: Pyranometer with an internal temperature sensor (PT100 probe)
- MBMet-500C: Pyranometer with an external temperature sensor (PT1000 probe with a 3m-cable, external shelter sold separately)
- MBMet-500D: Pyranometer with a surface temperature sensor (PT1000 probe with a 3m-cable)
Each option is available in two versions depending on the desired output: 4-20mA or Modbus RS-485.
