The serial cable is fitted with a DB9 adapter and allows you to connect a Peet Bros console (Ultimeter 100, Ultimeter 800 or Ultimeter 2100) to a computer equipped with an RS-232 serial port.
If your computer is not equipped with a serial port it is possible to use an RS-232 -> USB converter.
